BANGALORE FASHION WEEK STREET STYLE 2013

Bangalore Fashion Week - Day  3 and 4 witnessed a good number of well dressed people. Its easier to say that with pictures.
Blue is the New Black:
The Myntra Ladies never failed at looking their best. Featured again, Shivani in this nautical stirped dress and Tan Oxfords, which looked casual yet chic.

The Embellished Shoulders on this jacket looked "fabuleux" on her.

Namratha's Baroque inspired Mustard Floral cape paired with an "All black" Outfit gives the whole look a balance. Namita's "All Blue" Outfit - A blue Harem Jumpsuit paired with Blue and Gold Peep Toes gives the look a street feel with a dash of elegance.

Baroques

Aashi my photographer for the event, looked great in a Baroque inspired High Waist Panelled Skirt with details in Velvet.

Laced and Colour blocked: This Outfit had the right colours and textures of the season

Nevanta's Media Rep's outfit in Pastel separates paired with Copper Sandals, soothed the eye of the beholder.

I was also dressed in Off-white with a simple Spike necklace and an oversized Envelope clutch which added colour to the whole look

Sheer Maxis:
Asymmetric Maxi with a glittery twist, she added the vest that had the right amount of glitter to turn the outfit into an evening wear

Monochromes and Polka dots are a rage this season. So why not have the 2 of them in a maxi? Makes it even better ;)

Animal Print and Metallics Accessories
While the Lady in the Lace dress accessorised with a touch of Animal Print and a Rustic Statement necklace, the other girl had the right amount of Metallics to pull of an Edgy Punk Look. Shorts in Dull Gold paired with a Casual Marilyn Monroe T' accessorised with Statement Neckpiece, Studded Handbag and Wedges, this girl rocked my favorite trend of the Season "Punk" the way it should be.

BFW - Day 2 Street Style

Bangalore Fashion Week

A heady dose of fashion even off the ramp was very evident at the Bangalore Fashion Week Day 2. Spring Summer Trends like Punk, Graphic Prints, Colour Blocking were inherent amongst the Fashion Fraternity. I managed to get only a few pictures of them.

Shivani and Piali from Myntra's Blog - Style Mynt (had to convince them to pose for me.. Thank you both :*) What caught my eye was the 'Paint Splatter' tunic, the Safety Pin earring and the Camera Print Long Kurta with Neon Hemlines!

How to wear: Floral and Vine Asymetrical Tunic

I picked this cute White Asymmetric Tunic with Floral and Vine print from Done by None. Here's how I styled it for a perfect Summer Noon!  To give it a Luxe look I paired it with a pair of velvet leggings. Also wore a Belt to Cinch the waist and give the outfit a shape.

Spring Fever - Part 2 - Outfit Post

Hello Everyone..

My 2nd entry for the GiG Spotlight Serites #5: Spring Fever Contest  . Hosted by the Lovely Caity of Moi Contre La Vie  & Mari of I Love Green Inspiration

Inspired by my previous post I thought I'd showcase an outfit that I feel is very Spring appropriate! Spring always makes me think of easy silhouettes, paisley and floral prints, layers of Chains and Gladiator styled footwear. This look particularly has a Bohemian Influence with Pastel shades like Lavender, Pink and Teal and a headband with Feathers in Pink and Blue.
