How to wear a Dress shirt
A dress shirt is a very simple outfit that can be transformed from casual day to evening very easily. Here I have styled it for a Casual Day look; paired with a Faux Leather Bag (coz I don't like genuine leather items) and a pair of Pastel Green Sandals. Also added a Belt to give it a shape.

Green Shirt Dress - W

My 2nd entry for the GiG Spotlight Serites #5: Spring Fever Contest . Hosted by the Lovely Caity of Moi Contre La Vie & Mari of I Love Green Inspiration
Inspired by my previous post I thought I'd showcase an outfit that I feel is very Spring appropriate! Spring always makes me think of easy silhouettes, paisley and floral prints, layers of Chains and Gladiator styled footwear. This look particularly has a Bohemian Influence with Pastel shades like Lavender, Pink and Teal and a headband with Feathers in Pink and Blue.
Teal Cape - Lee
Necklaces and Bracelet - Goa Flea Market
Headband - Custom made
Paisley Print Dress - Billabong
Gladiator Shoes - Enroute

The Carrie Diaries - My Favorite looks from Episode1
Have you ever thought how Young Carrie's style would be, after her most acclaimed grown up role in the infamous SATC. Stylist Eric Daman, from the Gossip Girl fame surely made her young, daring and vibrant persona from SATC come to life. She's not afraid of mixing prints, trends and colours.
Here's another look where she wears a Chiffon-Silk Blouse with a High Waist Bermuda Shorts. I'm probably not so comfortable wearing Bermudas to office so I replaced it with a Pencil Skirt and to add Colour added some elements in Emerald Green
My next favorite look of hers is the one where she mixes a Silver Sequin Net Dress with an Animal Print Cardigan accented with bold colors like Neon Red, Neon Green and a Bright Vibgyor Belt. Here's how you can recreated it
That's all for now.. More in the making. So do come back!
I'd be glad to know what you guys think!

Here's my attempt to recreate some of her looks that are my favorites from Season 1 Episode 1 with a little tweak. I made use of the key elements in her outfit to transform the look so that it suits me and other women as well and not just teens
Her intro look in that Black Polka Dot dress with a Peppermint Green Denim Jacket was very young probably not suitable for all.. Here's my take on it

'Breakfast at Tiffany's' inspired Looks
When it comes to movies I always tend to prefer the Classics especially of Audrey Hepburn's, and amongst the lot I love 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' the most.
In this post I have put together some Classic looks that never get outdated. They are easy and simple to put together.
Here they are:

The Casual look of Audrey is soo timeless that even to this day I step out wearing these classic pieces.
Cocktail look of Audrey had nice Bow dresses with a lot of Pink thrown in. Although I'm not a big fan of Pink I love her look.
I'm such a fan of Audrey's hats they are just Fabulous. Here are some you could use :
Other Accessories:
I also love the accessories used for styling her in the movie. I managed to find a few.
That's all for now.

Print me Pretty!
I'm loving the trend of Printed Pants and this post is all about it and how you can put together a look according to your Body type.
Prints can be either Bold and Large or Small and Delicate. Always remember that only Tall women can carry off Bold and Large Prints. Petite and Curvy women like me can carry off the small and delicate ones. Wearing Bold prints will make you look shorter and to some extent plumpier.
There are again a variety of Prints. Here are a couple of them I put together:
1) Graphic Designs
2) Florals
3) Animal Print
4) Military Camouflage
Fashion Faux Pas:
Even Supermodels like Elle Macpherson can get some looks wrong. In this case the Drop Crotch Pant looks horribly wrong.
Gwen Stefani has a lot of matchy-matchy issues going on in here. She definitely got it all wrong with the Statement Neck Piece and the Bulky wedges as well.
Rihanna on the other hand tried the Camouflage Pants but the fit of the Pant and the Denim Jacket does no justice to her.
It is Very important to remember the below with Printed Pants :
- Choose the right fit
- Choose plain or minimally Printed Tops
- Choose Simple accessories.
- Choose sleeker Shoes or Stilettos.

Pep it Up!
Peplum, derived from the Greek word 'Peplos', in ancient Greece it was a woman's loose outer tunic or shawl. In today's world, Peplum would mean a frilly attachment to a Blouse, skirt, dress or a Jacket near the waist, adding a little drama to the garment. This trend was a huge hit during the 1880's, 1940's, 1980's And is back in fashion now.
Here's how you can incorporate Peplum in your wardrobe:
Peplum Blouse/Top
1. With Trousers
2. With Shorts
Peplum Skirts
Peplum Dresses
1. Cocktail length
2. Maxi's &Gowns
Jacket
Here are a few Pep picks that are very Edgy. If you can Pull these off.. Nothing like it !!
